South St. Burger - Ajax

Love that they offer a gluten free bun so I can enjoy a burger with my family. Very good burger and fries.

I love this place. Their burgers are huge and you can have anything put on it. Got to try it, it's better than McDonald's and great to go alone or with someone.

This South Street burger is one of our favourites. The service is good, the owner is very friendly (she always 'spills' extra fries on our tray when she is in) and the atmosphere is not noisy and bright. Great spot for a burger. great value with combos. Not crazy about the decor. It's better just to order and eat else where. Not pleasant seating area. Food excellent!

I guess the minute we walked in at lunch time and saw 1 person sitting and eating we should have known! We were greeted by a lady that was just standing behind the till, looking awfully bored!3 burgers and fries and 3 diet cokes = $38.93 Crazy right?Another lady appeared and there she was taking the buns right outta the bag (the type I normally buy at the grocery store), The condiments looked okay, nothing to write home about.They had the temperature set at 73 degrees, it was FREEZING in there.A man suddenly appeared from the back, and I assume he cooked the meat for our burgers. I noticed the French fries sitting in the basket, and to me they looked like they had been fried earlier. So basically they just tossed them back into the hot oil and served them to us. They were gross. I'm not really a fussy person, but myself and my son tossed half our food away. It was awful. This place used to be amazing, it's gone way down. Don't eat there folks, McDonalds would have been better. What a waste of money. They have nerve charging such high prices.
