Flavours - Ajax

Tried this place for a quick lunch the other day and really enjoyed the taste of it. Ended up ordering a bunch of party trays for my wife's birthday and food was great! We had the jerk chicken, tacos, rice/peas, mac and cheese, patties and plantains. Quite the feast and everyone loved it. Thanks Tasha!

Was excited to try the jerk and BBQ Tacos! Now, I understand that they are fusion. The kids did not enjoy coleslaw in the tacos and we didn't enjoy the pieces of cartilage small pieces of bones . Some pieces appeared to be dry hard. We did enjoy the jerk tacos. They had great flavour and were delicious! You get two tacos with an order. After two frustrating attempts, still could not place my order directly on their website for advanced pickup. The site is intelligent enough to recognize that an iPhone was being used, prompts you to use full desktop site, allows you to place an order then provides a final error indicating that it can not process payment, yet never prompted for a payment?? The telephone answering service was also not enabled when we called, during business hours. The service was pleasant and tried her best to accommodate. Funny thing was that they did not have a few of the menu items available, so some people left. There are some interesting menu options like (stuffed patty, stuffed dumpling chicken/oxtail poutine. Avoid going weekdays during lunch as there are a lot of high school students patrons. I am glad they are an option in the neighbourhood for a quick bite.

Definitely worth every penny ! I loved the jerk chicken and the Mac and cheese dish. A friend of mine got the oxtail dinner and he loved it!! So make sure you check them out when you get a chance!

Food was delicious, but over priced especially for takeout. The menu sign was falling off the wall and none of the prices were up to date. Everything I ordered I was charged more than what the menu board said. You have to wait quite awhile for the food. I ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken they charged over $3 for the chicken and you didn't even get a full piece of chicken just shredded bits. Thank God the Mac and cheese tasted good. Cheesy but not overpowering, seasoned, fresh and hot. Also ordered oxtail which was 17.50 not 16 line the board says. They do give you a large portion. The meat was tender and juicy, flavour was on point the rice was a little soggy due to the amount of gravy.
