Went here for dinner last night. Warm friendly welcome. I ordered off menu, chicken pizza, which was not listed. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Pizza was really tasty. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Waiter Florian was fantastic. A must visit if you...come to Corsica.
One of the best restaurants we had dinner at here at Ajaccio. We can say that everything was perfect. From the welcoming of the personnel to their service and the variety on their menu. Multilingual personnel. The tables inside and outside were comfortable and very...nice. The menu was varied and the portions were huge. I had a Wok which was delicious. The view to the tourist port of Ajaccio was really breathtaking. The bill was fairly high, but it is worth it for the location and service. Lots of parking space near the port at all times.
Great location on the boat harbour just further down the port from the cruise ships with tables overlooking the yachts in the harbour which was nice on a sunny day. Friendly efficient service and nice food. I had a nice salad compose and a carbonara...that I shared both being well served and very nice indeed.
This is one of many restaurants on the harbour-front in Ajaccio; there are so many in a small area that you are spoilt for choice and it is difficult to decide where to eat as they mostly offer similar food styles. This is a long,...thin restaurant (deceptively big inside because of its length with an entrance on the street side and a covered terrace at the other end looking out onto the quay. We were a party of 10; our hosts seemed to know the owner/manager which is perhaps why this restaurant had been chosen. As for the food, it was adequate but my wife and I were not overly impressed. Chips were served in a little basket with most of our party’s meal choices but they were most unappetising: almost black from over-cooking and/or oil which needed changing. A veal dish of one of our party had been almost cremated. My wife’s steak, although quite tender, was not cooked as she had asked (it was far too rare, almost ‘blue’ and cold in the middle . I had a pizza which was quite OK, except that the spicy oil sauce (always available with pizzas in French restaurants I asked for twice never arrived. Overall, not the one of the best experiences we have had but pleasant enough (apart from the chips! and on the plus side the bill was quite reasonable. But next time I’ll be trying one of the other restaurants …
