We drive all the way from The Woodlands to eat here...it is that good!!! You can really measure the quality of a Mexican restaurant by their tacos al pastor. One word: amazing!! Everything is superb here. Worth the drive from anywhere.

The food was good and seemed authentic. The service was fast and attentive. The atmosphere is loud, so to me that’s authentic as well. Plus they have a bakery with many if the traditional Mexican treats. The restaurant is a bit run down and old.

We come to Taqueria del Sol at least twice a month. It’s the best Mexican food in Houston and the best price.

The Food is superior. Was greeted and seated immediately. Great atmosphere. Service was very attentive and food was delivered quickly.
