Main Street Beer & BBQ - Airdrie

From the fellow friends I was told this was real BBQ. However for myself I found the meat to be slightly tasteless. Overall I wasn't super thrilled with the food but the atmosphere was great and or service was fantastic! Below is the Tricky texan

Drove in for one night and this seemed like the perfect choice for dinner. BBQ brisket was tender and smoked with great flavor and bacon wrapped corn cob was better than we imagined. Service was great and she was able to make good suggestions for portions and choices. Very spacious accommodations and friendly atmosphere.

The place looks better since the renovation was done, however, the menu is completely BBQ. For anyone looking for food that does not have that smoked flavor, well, look somewhere else. While BBQ meat is OK at times, it is not something that I would ever have on a regular basis. There is not much too choose from other than meat and fried pickles. So I guess it is just a place to drink now. This used to be my favorite pub, now it is someplace I go once or twice a year. Too bad.

Went here for Father's Day on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. The whole front window opens up which makes it quite nice on a nice sunny day. Our waitress encouraged us to pick our choice of seating -- the place is very spacious and has a warm atmosphere. Our waitress (Ashley) was beautiful as she is awesome. She asked if this was our first time, then proceeded to describe the menu choices and how the sides etc worked. She gave her recommendations on what she enjoyed the most and what she has tried off the menu. I took her advise and tried the brisket. We found the food to our liking and really enjoyed the taste. The food and service were both spectacular.

It was the first time going there. We were meeting up with friends for a birthday dinner. Loved the atmosphere in there and the staff was really friendly. I had the brisket and side of fries. wow was the brisket tender and juicy. We were about 8 people and ended up sharing each other's food to taste as much as we could. Loved everything I tasted. Only negative thing I have to say is the chairs/stools have no back to them so you can't lean back and relax. After a couple of hours you will realize what I mean.
