Carriere - Aigues-Mortes

My husband doesn't like noisy places so this one was perfect. It was on a side street (away from the main square) with table cloths, inside or outside dining, and the owner was our fantastic waiter! I ordered a local specialty, Le Gardiane de Taureau, which in English is Bull Stew. It was exactly as I expected it to be, slow cooked and tender.. very good. My husband ordered the specialty of the day, Osso Bucco, and that was absolutely terrific. Nicely priced menu items and gentle surrounds. We would eat here again!

Didn't stay in the Hotel but dined in restaurant. Frequented mainly by locals. Good unfussy service by an amiable host. Food was of a superb standard. Can highly recommend and miles better than anything you'll find on the overcrowded main square.

Hotel 2* very well located, 50m from central and lively St Louis. Very correct, charming and welcoming owners Not super soundproof but when there are discreet people it doesn't pose a problem Anyway, well. Extremely clean, it's very pleasant.

Excellent! If you go to Aigues-Mortes, don’t hesitate to stop in this restaurant with a family atmosphere, with well-preserved specialties ...
