Contribuiți la feedbackThis is hands down my favorite local place to eat in Oahu. I mainly came to breakfast, but I also had lunch. The servers are always friendly and wonderful. The coffee is delicious (Favorite Diner coffee I had on the island so far). But above all, the portions are large and delicious. I go 1-2 a week for their breakfast and dare to say...it is the highlight of my week (other than a fresh hairstyle) to have a great meal and to chop coffee. It's impossible to recommend an article because I loved everything I had. You can't do anything wrong here. Have not used yet, but there is a full bar and TVs for sports on weekends as well. Do the right thing and tap your servers. I'm looking forward to eating here every weekend.
This is a lovely restaurant with an extensive menu. I've consistently experienced prompt service, and the portion sizes are generous, often leaving me with enough to take home. While prices have increased a bit in recent years—like most places—the cost remains fair given the quality of the food and the size of the portions.
I definitely experienced a different kind of diner this time, and it was fantastic! The Kimchee fried rice was delicious and just the right amount of spice, making it enjoyable for everyone. My children really loved their breakfast, especially the sausage that we ordered to-go. My mother prefers simple meals, so she had a side of eggs and hash browns for breakfast. I would definitely come back here!
As an update from March 5, 2019: They had a Fat Tuesday brownie pie promotion with 15% off on Twitter. It's important to note that the military discount is only available for active-duty members, not veterans, which is disappointing. The service was a bit slow due to being understaffed, but once we placed our order, it arrived quickly. However, our eggs were cooked too hurriedly and ended up being boiled. Despite that, the meal was delicious. If you expect a high volume of orders, it's crucial to have enough staff to handle them. On July 23, 2021, they adjusted their hours and menu (I forgot to take a snapshot). The food prices remain largely the same, but drinks are a bit pricey. The unsweetened iced tea costs $3.99, and I'm unsure if it's refillable because it wasn't clarified by the server. Bottled water is listed at $2.50, and soda costs $3.99. Due to COVID-19, staffing has been limited, which has made things challenging; many people are hesitant to work, and with the delta variant causing daily case surges, it's understandable. Wishing them the best as they continue serving their delicious dishes. As of April 6, 2022, we dined there at 6 p.m. with a party of five to celebrate a birthday. Our server, Matt, was on point—thank you, Matt! The food was outstanding. Three members of our party had never dined at BCD before and were thrilled with the dishes; they particularly enjoyed the Pupu NY Steak, pork chops, and roast. Kudos to the exceptional staff at BCD that night!
First of all, I want to support local businesses, and I am truly impressed by their friendly service, excellent variety of food, and the cleanliness of the establishment.
