Drink are ok but they are generally out of most drinks. Staff will not make or add anything that is not specifically listed on their menu extra custard or boba). Which sucks when they are out most of the drinks on the menu.. The last 2 times I was there the staff was rude, they canceled my 3 drink order to take another order because I was slow..
Delicious ice cream!! The black sesame is to die for! Super fun atmosphere inside, and the staff is super friendly
I came by on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't too packed and there's lots of available parking near the shop. The baristas were helpful and service was quick. I ordered a brown sugar boba with fresh milk as it looked like one of their more popular drinks! The milk was good although I would've like it to be a little creamier and it'd be nice to have more dairy free milk options as well (they only had coconut milk as another option available that day). The brown sugar was rich and had a nice caramelization. I thought the boba was too hard on the inside and soft on the outside. Overall, not bad!
Year of the Rabbit 2023 has been occupying my thoughts. Catchy company name of double use or twice rabbit seems befitting for an afternoon visit. Regular cup Japanese Buckwheat Milk Tea w/ Grass Jelly, 50% Sugar, 50% Ice quenched my thirst in a satisfying way. Perfect cup when squeezed partially doesn't leave markings. Compostable sturdy straw is by far the best one I've experienced for an iced beverage. One fast poke with cover remained intact and liquid stays in the cup, not seeping out. Nutty taste from Japanese buckwheat and fresh herbal, subtle mint of grass jelly. Drink comes with one free topping and total $6.02 includes tax. Few beverages and some toppings were out for the day as I arrived two hours prior to closing. Accept credit or debit cards only. No cash or checks. There's also a sign posted on the door showing outside. Nonetheless, experienced superb customer service. Two young ladies worked well together to genuinely answer my numerous questions, offer suggestions and made my beverage. They offered a reward points program at no charge which can be used interchangeably at Aiea and Honolulu locations. All you need to sign up for free is your ten or eleven digit phone number. Quiet vibe and to go orders only. I envision making my way through the rest of the menu.
