Genki Sushi - Aiea

This place in my opinion is probably the best of all the Genki's that I've been to. For one, I've eaten here a bunch of times and never had the karaage arrive over cooked it burnt. The lines here, surprisingly move pretty fast too.Food: 5/5

The fish was fresh and delicious, and we really enjoyed the maki rolls. Ordering on the phone was a bit cumbersome; it would have been easier to use an iPad. However, our food came out quickly. They did make mistakes with our order twice, but the staff were friendly and accommodating when it came to correcting our bill. It’s a little pricey given the basic service, but the food quality makes it worth it. Overall, I’d rate the food a 5 out of 5.

I dine here frequently, and I've always found the service to be attentive and professional. The sushi selection may not be extravagant, but it aligns well with local tastes. Although prices have increased quite a bit, they are still reasonable compared to those in Waikiki. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

The experience was decent, but the food definitely had a better taste in the past. We still tipped 20% on the bill, but the service felt lacking since there was minimal interaction. You scan a barcode to view the menu and place your order, then the food arrives on a rail. You simply grab your food and press a button to send the rail back. Given the limited service, it seems like the tip should be lower since we aren’t receiving full service.

A new Genki Sushi at Pearlridge's food court, it was not so busy. The food was good. I had the stuffed mushrooms. Two were average size, only one was the customary large. (Honestly, the stuffed mushrooms I ate at genki ward were super better! They were uniformly bigger and they really loaded on the crab meat, cheese, mayo, tobiko, topping on each mushroom). I hope this new restaurant would be as generous with their portions, too! Very nice servers at Pearlridge.
