Hotel Restaurant Kloepferkeller - Aibl

We live in Austria but were unaware of this hotel and restaurant. Whatver you are doing then down tools and go there NOW ! It has been amazingly modernised and is an absolute treat. The interior is really beautiful and the gardens with swimming pool are gorgeous. It is modernised in true Austrian style with stunning woodwork which is a must to see. Great owners. We will be back !!

The menu is very centered around some of the more traditional Styrian themes, but very well prepared and presented. The house pork chops were lovely. Vegetables and salads well prepared as well. There are some choices possibilities to modify dishes to be dairy or gluten free. Seasonal choices are present and daily specials are always a good choice. Foreigners can ask about how meals are prepared some daily special dishes might be slow boiled as opposed to grilled, and some salads come with a lot of bacon (yum). The place to sit inside is in the cave, but on a nice day the garden is overflowing with charm. There are also some play facilities for children just out of earshot of the tables. There is also a comfortable gazebo for having a few cocktails with your group. Those staying in the hotel have the benefit of a lovely pool as well. Service is prompt, practical and efficient. The managers were very kind to accomodate us with no reservation despite being overbooked and brimming at capacity. Recommendation is to book a reservation duirng holidays seasons in weekends. I think this is the best overall food ambience restaurant for miles around!

We were in Eibiswald to work and we went to this restaurant a couple of time at lunch. Good service, traditional food and average price. Frequented by local people. There isn't an English menu, and there aren't pictures. Moreover, most of people don't understand English language.

We took a drive out to Eibiswald and booked this restaurant for dinner. The drive was scenic (from Ehrenhausen) and the food was well worth the trip. Superb regional dishes, delicious pork and boiled beef and the homemade white chocolate ice cream was too good to resist! Many thanks to our host for an excellent service.

Die Küche ist absolut top! Meiner Meinung nach die beste in der Gegend um Eibiswald.Wir waren zu viert und haben einen schönen Querschnitt durch die Karte inkl. Tagesempfehlung genossen. Alles absolute Spitzenqualität. Auch das Ambiente ist klasse, urig im Gewölbekeller wo man auch in einem alten Weinfass sitzen kann, gemütlich im Hauptraum und sehr schön auf der Gartenterasse. Der Service ist sehr freundlich.Alles zusammen hat zu einem sehr schönen Abend geführt, danke dafür!
