Contribuiți la feedbackIf you want high dining, it's definitely a place you can't miss. Choose your menu and let yourself with the beautiful landscape of the carefully pre-paddled dining room, miles away from the modern trend of the simple style. – This does not mean that the place is overloaded. – It only makes a homogeneous whole with the beautiful XIXc. builging and the sea. In my four course menu, the star was definitely the dove, prepared in various ways. Each piece of meat was incredibly juicy, soft and full of taste. It was served with an incredible sauce of glittering and silky texture and earthy taste. – Overall – only epic. The wine served with it was also fantastic – Prunotto, Barbera d`Alba was definitely the perfect choice. – Light and fruity, from a slightly smoky taste, emphasizes every single note of the perfect bird. The scallops were also fantastic, so delicate, perfectly cooked and the cauliflower made a perfect basis to expose the beautiful truffle sauce. Another delicacies – the dessert! – Chocolate and Rhabarb. – The Rhabarb – a rather difficult fruit that both cook and serve – was presented here beautifully: no fiber, not mad at all, but live the fantastic taste of chocolate. The liqueur wine served with the dish was delicious: sweet, fruity, but by no means exaggerated the dish. But if I think about it now, there would be a easier choice. – The dish was very well balanced and did not need any additional sugar... Still, the game was nice. Perhaps it would also be worth trying with a crispy sauvignon blanc from Marlborough to make the Rhabarb a star of the plate? ... Greetings from the kitchen were fantastic. Let me just start with the homemade bread, which is served with a large olive oil and tomato butter, and the perfect grapefruit sorbet with an apple crunch to clean our taste buds. The service was immaculate. The waiter showed a great knowledge of the dishes and drinks he offers, and could answer all my questions about the menu and the wines – if not, he was happy to ask in the kitchen. We were told to the boss that he introduces a new menu every month.... Try it.
This spring blue salon has proved to be correct. We chose a 5 piece menu that was a lot, as we also received small “gifts” from the kitchen. In addition to the mini sandwiches with delicious local products, we have a selection of meat that prove the skill of the cook. The smoked and fried Guinea-Fowl – epic! However, it was the turbot with trout roe that was one of my favorites. It was incredibly tender, slept on the palate and formed an incredible unit with the pure butterfoam and asparagus it was served with. Another dish that stole my heart was the Monkfish salimbocca with spinach and pine nuts... This proves that it does not require complicated techniques to make perfect food. What is more, what is simple, can be the most complicated... especially if perfect ingredients have to be celebrated. – The monk was absolutely beautiful: soft but not falling apart, and the piece of ham with which he had been fried gave him the pinch of salty spyness, which caused the delicate notes of the fish. The spinach was tender, juicy, but by no means watery and the roasted pine nuts delivered a crispy counterpoint to the whole plate. The dish was served with beautiful tomatoes gnocchi, which were solid and delicate and with the baked tomatoes that served the dish. Another highlight of the evening was the dessert. – Fruit with sage ice cream. This was served with an absolutely fantastic sauce of boiled fruits (apples and plums and the sky knows what else), spice and champagne. This was the ultimate splendor in its truest form! The sauce – served in a pot, was incredible and so was the sour fruit to not mention the otherwise Bland sage ice cream.... All this has been served with matching wines that have been chosen very well, and the champagne to go with the dessert.
If you love impeccable kitchen, perfect interior and discreet service, Blue Salon is definitely a place you should visit during your stay in Ahlbeck or its neighborhoods. The four-course menu that we ordered was especially oppulent because during the meal – between the courses we ordered small delicacies from the kitchen. First we got small sandwiches, followed by three absolutely wonderful oysters, prepared in various ways. Then we got the surprising eagle fish with red grapefruit. The fish was prepared in various ways, of which the fried one most appealed to me. In addition, grapefruit was also served in various ways: we got grapefruit gelly, grapefruit sorbet and finally a piece of fruit on our own. The next dish I ordered were scallops with risotto and black caviar. Well, that was also surprising, because – not as a fan of Risotto, I could never think it would go so well with caviar. – With the juicy scallops – sheer delicacies! But for me was the star of the evening of the lobster and Sturgeonstrudel, served with Bisk. – That was epic! The delicate fish and lobster packed in an almost non-existent pastry, served with biscuits with and from salsify... For dessert we were served Melone Sorbet, Melone Gelee and points of creamy cheese and coffee. No matter, there was no other coffee on the table, the smell made us think there was a whole pot in front of me! In the meantime we were also served Grapefruit Sorbet (to clean the palate), and pouring jelly delicacies in a small bottle. - Fantastic! Let me also serve a line on the wonderful selection of wine with each of the dishes (wine pairing menu). – The wines we got were very cleverly selected and expanded the taste of each of the dishes. They also drew my attention to German wines, mostly overlooked in my country. The service was impeccable and the waiter, who was always present and only if necessary, provided great knowledge of the food and wine he served.
Danke
