Villa Rosa - Agueimes

Great location, good service and a nice meal was served when I visited and will return again on my next visit to the main island.

I came here for dinner because it was one of the very few restaurants in town open on a Monday night. I was very disappointed. The waiter was very commercial, always pushing to drink and eat more, and the food was edible but quality of a poor all-you-can-eat buffet. And the red wine was almost frozen! Avoid.

Sunday lunch, 7 UK ex pats, all of which spend a number of months in Gran Canaria. Aguimes is a beautiful truly Canarian town on this island that has to be visited. Haven’t been to this restaurant for about 3 years as it is a 45 minute trip in the car. This was good on our last visit but seems to have got even better. Fried cheese garlic bread starters, great steaks, pork chops, chicken, salads, properly cooked home made chips/sautéed potatoes, good choice of beers wines, the best service ever, friendly welcoming with nothing too much trouble. Well done team, they all work really hard to achieve perfection they have definitely succeeded. Anyone who visits GC has access to a hire car really MUST visit Aguimes spoil themselves with the atmosphere surroundings of this restaurant.

This place served great food and drinks, we had sandwiches and the coffees looked delicious. the best part was the service. the bartender and chef was very friendly and helpful. he speaks English and was very accommodating and welcoming. would definitely reccomend this cafe to both locals and travellers.
