Sal De Mar - Aguadilla

Lack of staff to properly serve all the tables they had over a regular busy week. The overall service was poor. Half of their seafood was not available and they didn’t mention until you ordered. Cocktails were too sweet. Arañitas and fish was good

Went for seafood, ended up with skirt sirloin steak because they were out of everything. Both steaks over cooked to well done vs. med rare. Salad served with no dressing, rice beans no flavor. Not sure where the good reviews came from but it was a huge disappointment.

Went there for Christmas dinner. The location has amazing views, especially from rooftop. The service was slow. Our drink order was made incorrectly. Then we were told they only had fish empanadillas and no plantain optioms (tostones, arañitas, mofongo). I finally settled on a sirloin steak with mushroom sauce fries. It was 80% fat grizzle soI didn't eat it. I was given a 20% discount. I would not return.

I was recommended to check the Restaurant by one of the locals offering the Crash Boat Experience with the Pelicans. It was disappointing as the place is nicely located in a very energetic waterfront buy unfortunately the experience was not as expected . First there is minimal parking available not even if you have reservation and we ended parking in arena lot space poorly lit for $7.00 dollars. Our dining experience was poor to fair. The first plate fish caldo with mofongo was cold, one of the aperitive 's went missing and never showed up the wait was almost 2 hours and finally the grilled lobster,,,, well I have had better in other places like Mayaguez, Rincon. Luquillo.

The Bad- The asopao was underwhelming, very salty, and it tasted more like seafood bouillon than actual seafood. The fish in garlic butter was like boiled paper in oil with a bunch of seafood on top to cover. The salmon tasted like it was prior cooked and then greased in a very bad try of garlic butter. The good- The service was very friendly. The Passion sangria was very good. The sampler was on point, perfect for two. The place itself looked cleaned and cared. The beer was cold. The evil- The server offered to replace the asopaos, so we did. When they returned the asopaos it tasted like they just added water, yes water, no broth, water. Also, they came back without my side dishes. So now, I got water down soup without tostones and that is evil.
