Trattoria Pizzeria Manhattan

A very nice place in a not nice town. The choice of food is good and the plates are good. Not great from a value point of view.

For Italian standards this was not a great pizza for sure. Perhaps the location close to the touristy area, perhaps that day and that pizza, too bad!

On a side street from the main restaurant and shopping street in Agrigento (Via Atenea), Manhattan looks unassuming, But it serves excellent Sicilian dishes, as well as a wide range of pizzas. Sicily has many good restaurants at good prices, and Manhattan is one of them. You get great service, a pleasant setting, and above all beautifully prepared, delicious meals. Pizza is popular, but there’s so much to love about Sicilian food that tourists should look beyond pizza, no matter how good. There are fancier restaurants in the area and several chefs whose names are known to diners, but so what? Manhattan offers the quality without the ego.
