Romantic Palace - Agios Gordios

This was recommended to us during our holiday to Corfu and we decided to visit. What a beautiful place to visit, traditional Greek home cooked food with excellent customer service. Family run. Wonderful Greek entertainment. Love music, dancing and plate smashing! We sat on top overlooking the sea and dinner with a sunset! Absolutely stunning! Totally recommend it!

The best food in Agios Gordios. Even simple moussaka is amaizing compared to any other we had. And the stuff is really amazing, specially if you have a chance to be at the greek evening when owner shows young ones how greeks party : Truly must visit place . PS. My partner and I visited the Romantic Palace for the Greek Night (held on a Tuesday and Thursday). We had a fabulous evening with the amazing location, entertainment and cocktail menu! The Greek dancing was lovely to watch and there was opportunity for the audience to go and get involved with the dancing too which was good fun! The entertainment reflected traditional Greek celebrations with smashing plates and live music with the dancers wearing full Greek attire. The owner of this bar and all the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly! If you are visiting Corfu a night in this bar is definitely a Must!!

In our opinion the best restaurant in Agios Gordios, right on the beach. The food is amazing made even better watching the sun setting across the sea. Michalis together with his sons daughter always give you the warmest of welcomes. A must for anyone visiting Agios Gordios.

Auf der Suche nach einem schönen Lokal für den Abend, bin ich auf das Romantic Palace aufmerksam geworden, welches sich zu unserem Highlight des Urlaubs herausstellte. Dienstags und Donnerstags ist immer Livemusik, und eine Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Wir hatten trotzdem Glück und wurden sehr nett begrüßt und bekamen noch Platz an Tisch 5. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren vorstellen können, denn wir konnten von dort aus super den Sonnenuntergang, die Live Musiker und den tanzenden Chef mit seinen zwei Söhnen beobachten. Auch die Kellnerinnen waren alle sehr zuvorkommend (eine hatte mir sogar ihre private Jacke geliehen, weil leider keine Decke vorhanden war). Das Essen ist alles hausgemacht und wirklich lecker. Es gab auch das ein oder andere Gericht auf der Karte, welches man nicht in jedem Restaurant findet, was mich persönlich auch sehr angesprochen hat (Chicken Filet mit Curry ist sehr zu empfehlen). Wir haben uns wirklich sehr willkommen gefühlt und alle miteinander getanzt. Selbst die Leute in der Küche haben gestrahlt und das Arbeitsmiteinander wirkt sehr harmonisch, was ich sehr wichtig finde. Trotz des „Stresses“ (der Laden war echt richtig gut besucht), haben alle ein Lächeln parat, welches nicht aufgesetzt herüberkommt. Der Abend war wirklich perfekt und wird uns sehr sehr lange in ganz toller Erinnerung bleiben. Wer hier nicht wenigstens 1x hingeht (am Besten Dienstag oder Donnerstag), der verpasst was. Danke für diese wirklich tolle Erfahrung!
