First, I must commend the service—it was outstanding. The tea, a cinnamon orange spice blend, was delightful! Unfortunately, the same couldn’t be said for the food. We were extremely disappointed. The spinach quiche was completely flavorless, and the spinach was quite watery. The bacon quiche was passable, but both options were crustless and—if I’m not mistaken—seemed like they had been microwaved. The scone was flat and hard, served with a choice of jam, curd, or Devonshire cream. I’ve never encountered a scone that didn’t include both jam and cream. The sandwiches were mediocre—not bad, but nothing memorable—and the desserts, though okay, were quite tiny. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5 for its delightful flavors. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The atmosphere was charming and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for my meal. I highly recommend trying the Afternoon Tea; it was a highlight of the visit!
