Although the holidays are almost everywhere and many people stay in the countryside because of the Corona pandemic, it is extremely difficult to find an open restaurant on Monday in the Oberland. Instead of accidentally I saw light passing over, turned around and returned. And was not disappointed: The beef tongue was excellent, also the vegetable bed on which it was crimped. As a friend of a hearty beer, I did not feel the gifted Zwönitztaler as a taste experience.

I was the first guest of the evening and the service did not seem particularly satisfied. I ordered a lapping steak that was not special (hard and bad to eat) the roast potatoes and the salad were good. The meat didn't have the taste I expected from a fresh rag steak.

During our holiday we have eaten three times in Sole Sauerbrunnen and can recommend the inn. According to his own assessment he offers home kitchen and is rich and very well made. The quality of food was very good, the card offered a lot of choice. The decor is original and tasteful, and you can also dine on the terrace in front of the restaurant. The prices are in the cheap area and the owners are very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food there.
