Wow Cafe - Adelaide

We went to this restaurant when it first opened for breakfast and it was good. However, when we returned the next day, the chef had taken over as the barista and the coffee was so bad that none of us could even drink it.

I left Victoria Square to grab a cup of tea at this restaurant and ended up staying to do some work. I had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and decided to order a sandwich, which was made exactly to my liking with fresh and delicious ingredients. Despite the busy atmosphere, the employee kindly allowed me to use the restroom for personal reasons and even offered me a complimentary bottle of water to make up for any inconvenience. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service, making me eager to return for the cozy atmosphere. This is a great spot for solo diners, couples, or families looking for a quick bite in the city center.

During our recent stay in Adelaide at the Peppers on Waymouth Street hotel, we were disappointed by the expensive hotel breakfast. Seeking a better option, we stumbled upon WOW Café and were warmly welcomed. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of banana bread and eggs on toast, along with tea and juice, all for a reasonable price of $18. The next day, we returned for lunch and were once again impressed by the sandwiches and drinks we ordered. The friendly staff always provided exactly what we asked for. We visited WOW Café multiple times during our stay and will definitely return on our next trip to Adelaide. I highly recommend giving this café a try – it's a great alternative to overpriced hotel breakfasts.

I wandered in from Victoria Square for a cup of tea and to do some work, and had such a great welcome with cheerful staff that I also ordered a sandwich, which was made exactly as I asked with really tasty, fresh ingredients. The place was having some work done but the staff member let me use the staff toilet and let me have my sandwich and a bottle of water for free to apologise for the disruption! Very caring staff and great service, would definitely come her again just for the atmosphere from the staff. Great place to get e-mails done alone or for couples or families looking for a snack in the centre of town.
