Contribuiți la feedbackIt was quite busy school holidays, but the staff was just beautiful and my chicken salad was delicious. my flat white coffee was also excellent. a so relaxed atmosphere.
The cafe is run by incredible people. We enjoyed our meal and sipped on our drinks while relaxing after viewing the stimulating art exhibitions. After finishing our meal, we returned to the gallery for more!
We had been to this café before and found the food to be good, affordable, and delicious. However, on this recent visit, my cheese, tomato, and ham toastie was quite disappointing. It was only about 1.5 cm thick and seemed to have been flattened in a sandwich press. I was disappointed to find a thin slice of cheap ham inside the toastie. For the price of $10,000, I expected better quality. On the other hand, my partner's smoked salmon on whole grain bread was satisfactory. The staff appeared disinterested in their work.
It's almost a year since we were here and looked back, I could really write the same review. at the beginning we are the only ones present, and it is a more pleasant place with beautiful view over the rungs in direction north terrace and. a big walskeleton to keep us company. we come to start our day with coffee and cake. as before, the selection of cakes is not big, and the total bill is on the high side. the service is good and we enjoy the coffee. this is a good way to start a visit to the museum.
This is a ‘must visit’ place each time we are in Adelaide. Great food and drink in a really good location. When sitting outside you would never realise you were in a busy city. Sat and had our iced coffee and delicious cakes out there...today. Lovely, friendly staff. We’ll be back again during our stay in Adelaide. Really worth a visit. Pop in to the museum too for a look round!
