The meat was really good! I tried the lamb, and it is Motrin an Asian style. Sauce is nice as well as the chilli! Salad, well, not bad for take-away.

Absolute Favourite! Tasty, fresh, nutritionally sound and super fast service . It's the best tasting healthy lunch in town. I wish they would open more outlets throughout the city.

I always go for the roll option - and Chicken & Pig never disappoints .  My favourite is half lamb half pork (to get the crackling!). I was shocked to see only an average rating of 3.2... I have read all reviews and with the exception of one 3.0 rating, all were 4 or 5....

Great little takeaway place to eat for lunch with delicious tender meat (lamb and the pork were amazing). I personally didn't like your chicken as much as was a bit dry. Salads were tasty too. A healthy and nutritious lunch which is very filling.

See, I'm still in two minds about Chicken & Pig, and hence I've given it a 3 star review. I've been there twice now, and from what I've heard from a large number of people (since we all work in the city and frequent this place), is that C&P is extremely inconsistent, which I wholeheartedly agree with. The first time I was there, they were super stingy with the portions. The food comes in a rectangular cardboard fold up box and it's your standard container size. The girl who gave me my salad carefully parted my salad to the side so that it was only a quarter full, and the man who chops up the meat gave me the smallest serving of meat known to mankind, and together the meat and salad only took up half of the box. It was one of the most pitiful lunches I've ever had, and it was for $12.50. I swore to never return again. Of course, return I did. This time it was because I heard that it has changed since, giving out more generous portions. I got the beef (they have beef too sometimes apparently instead of lamb, maybe they need to change their name to Chicken & Pig & Lamb & Sometimes Beef.  The beef was exquisite - soft and so tender and juicy, it just fell apart at the slightest touch. Gorgeous. The salad I got some cauliflower and ricotta, cabbage slaw and carrots & corn. Little did I know that most of the salad items were raw... I guess that's just how they do them. Organic and raw and healthy and all that stuff, which was fine. I personally would've liked them cooked.  The portion size was better than the last time though, but the girl who picked the salad was still visibly stingy with her servings, loading up the salad while trying to be calculative.  So overall, not a bad place if you want fine meat with a nice salad selection. But if you want a cheaper lunch that isn't a smaller-than-usual-portion salad for $12.50, go elsewhere. Protip: Go when the lunch crowd isn't there, it gets pretty busy.
