Astonish Patisserie - Adelaide

We stopped here for cakes after dinner. The interior could do with a bit more light.. friendly staff.. reasonable selection of cakes and sweets .. the waffles were ok..we tried their layer cake which was not too sweet and light ; I enjoyed the flavour however it was served with caramel popcorn which threw off the balance of the cake. Verdict : average

Can't remember how much I paid for their green tea cake, maybe about $8, and the size? It was smaller than my fist, and my hands are pretty small. The worst part is I couldn't even really taste much of the green tea taste. The only thing I like about this place is their Green Tea Latte

I had walked by this place and followed them on social media for a while before I actually visited. Unfortunately I was not a fan, the place just seemed really unclean and had a really bizarre decor. It put me off ordering any food so I opted for a hot drink instead, which was okay. My friends ordered desserts and while they looked good the portion size was too small for the price paid

Yum! A cute, quirky place for dessert. Lots of different, not your average desserts to choose from & big range of different hot drinks. I enjoyed the caramel hot chocolate but the coffee are nice too.

It was a sad experience for me, I was travelling Adelaide for a few days, trying to find a new dessert place for my sweet tooth. Came across the pics and found this one quite interesting. It was sad because I walked from the city centre to this place....wasn't close at all, is my fault though I shouldn't have done it on a hot day.  anyway, back to the food I ordered. I had the thousands layers crepes, with some caramel popcorns and a scoop of ice cream on the side. It was just TOO SWEET, not from the crepes itself, but the sauce they put on it.
