Romina Restaurant Bar - Addis Ababa

I recently dined at Romina restaurant with a friend, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my visit took a turn for the worse due to the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of the manager and staff. As my friend was running late, I tried to send her a picture of the menu to choose her preferences in advance. However, before I could do so, the manager appeared and began yelling at me in front of other customers. His behavior, along with that of around 13 staff members who joined in, was completely uncalled for and humiliating. Instead of addressing the situation calmly, they created a hostile environment, leaving me feeling disrespected. When I tried to discuss the issue with the manager, I was met with further disrespect. This review serves as a warning to others considering dining at Romina restaurant. The rude treatment I received as a customer is unacceptable, and I hope the restaurant reevaluates their management practices to ensure a culture of respect towards their patrons. My negative experience should not be repeated by anyone else.

This review is specifically for our waiter Dereje Beyene, who works at Romina on Comores street near the British embassy. I have been working and living in Ethiopia for 10 years now and have never experienced such excellent customer service here. Dereje is genuinely friendly, organizes seating, double checks orders, and notices when guests need something. The food at Romina is delicious and reasonably priced. Dereje is a fantastic person and a true professional. Even my kids loved him! Make sure to visit Romina and meet Dereje.

Beautiful terrasse with trees and Flowers. Quick service and good ethiopian and italian food. I recommend it

Excellent service and good atmosphere. I enjoyed the time I spent there with my partners. I recommend this place for having a pleasant break.

Had lunch and dinner here during our time in Addis. Tried both their traditional local food and pizza, both of which were delicious. Both times we attended the place was busy and bustling.
