La Bella Fonte - Adams

Tried for the first time last night. We were the only people in the dining room so we couldn't figure out what took so long for our meals. Appetizers came in a decent amount of time. Wings were decent. Onion soup had meat in it which was pretty gross. Salads never showed up until after our meals that took forever showed up. Husband ordered steak MR. Arrived well done. Didn't want to wait for another one so he just let it go. Told waitress but we already wanted to leave so we told her we didn't want it recooked. Scampi and Steak were very, very salty. They need to shut the doors between the bar and the dining room. The smoke smell was pretty gross. Not sure if it was Coming from there or elsewhere. The noise from the bar crowd wasn't fun to listen to when we were trying to have a nice dinner out. It's not cheap either so you expect decent service and properly cooked food especially when it was empty except for the bar. Overall pretty disappointed. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone or Go back.

Sold on tonight's special which was prime rib. Service was fantastic. From NYC, and was food was great. Would recommend to anyone traveling from the city.

Pleasant surprise in a small town. Never would have eaten here if it weren't for the other reviews. The house salad dressing is amazing. Also I was extreme impressed with the chop. Got the filet and was surprised by the quality of cut and tenderness of the meat. My wife got the chicken caprice, Lived the balsamic on the dish. Also she raved about the twice baked potato. The restaurant is on a public golf course, very well maintained. Some of the best grass I have seen in the area. Will definitely be back, next meal will be after a round of 18.

My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant—it's our favorite place in town. We were so happy with our experience that we decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception at La Bella Fonte. The owner, Chris, is incredibly friendly and always makes sure to greet all the customers. He was very accommodating and even had some great ideas for our wedding. The food is absolutely delicious and unlike anything else you can find in Adams or Watertown. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes and quality. The bread they serve before dinner is enough to get me excited! They also change their menu seasonally and I noticed they have a new chicken caprese dish that sounds amazing—we'll definitely have to come back and try it. We always bring our friends and family here when they come to visit, and I highly recommend you give it a try as well. Enjoy!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in over two years due to slow service, but decided to give it another try. The food was still very tasty and the service was great! We started with drinks and also ordered the Gorgonzola chips as an appetizer. It was a large dish with plenty of toppings. For dinner, my husband ordered the special, chicken riggies, which was a huge portion. His only complaint was that it could have been spicier. It came with a salad. I had the special as well, which was pumpkin ravioli with a bacon maple sauce, and it was delicious! It also came with a salad. The complimentary homemade bread and pesto were so good that I would go back just for that! We also got a slice of carrot cake to-go, and it was a yummy treat.
