If you were to throw a small island from Istanbul, you would end up at Barba in Burgazada. Fast service for the waiters. The only downside is the hot semolina dessert we wanted at the end of the meal, which blocks the view of a single boat parking.
If you escape from Istanbul and find yourself on a small island, Burgazada Barba Yani is the place to go. The waiters are attentive and the service is quick. Our favorite at the end of the meal is the warm helva. The only downside is that a boat may dock in front of you and obstruct the view.
The appetizers, especially the Cretan dip, were quite fresh and delicious. Our favorite was the calamari and shrimp casserole. In fact, it was the best shrimp casserole I have ever had.
The ambiance and the staff are wonderful, and the music played inside completely satisfies you. They pamper you every time you go and make you feel like you're at home. Especially the appetizers and fish are top-notch.
