Blimpie - Ada

I ordered a beef and provolone sub with everything on it. Honestly, I would have preferred a roasted broth, but it seemed like they didn't offer that option. I asked about all the relevant toppings and was informed that the roasted red peppers were an additional 50 cents. Okay, fine. But when I paid, I was shocked to find out that the total for the sub came to $14.83 with just one tiny extra topping. After they took the order, I ended up with a $16 sub. I understand that food prices have gone up recently, but this seems outrageous. I even called a Subway to check their current prices, and a foot-long sub is about $7.50. How is this Blimpie still in business?

The sandwiches here are fantastic! The service is outstanding too! The friendly and smiling staff keep us coming back!

The food was good. I got the grilled chicken and the portion some was very small. I left hungry. I love the old school vibe inside though.

Quality has gone down, skimping on everything. Guess when you can't shave the cheese thinner, cut it in half and call it two. And I thought it was bad when there counting the vegetables. Don't ask for more they'll charge you four dollars more or was that just me.

It was my first time trying Blimpie. The workers were really friendly and service is great. My sandwich was only ok. I got a Philly cheesesteak and the meat tasted old. I noticed lots of other sandwich and food options on the wall near the register after I ordered so I probably would have chosen something else. Hoping I'll be able to update my review after giving it another try.
