The Chairman & Yip - Acton

We have an exquisite dinner tonight with Chairman and Yip to celebrate my little boy's birthday. Nice services, friendly staff, excellent food! Thank you. I feel so blessed for the fantastic experience that President and Yip have brought us!

You will never find an occasion where this place does not deceive you. This place is quickly my standard for family visits in Canberra, date night or just after a long week. Staff are so attentive and you feel like they want every meal to be an experience. A close connection between this and the Lanterne rooms, as the Lanterne rooms probably gives you more food, but the taste of each dish at the chair is rich apples and oranges really.

My wife and I were late a day and got a table. Service was knowledgeable and attentive without coming into the way. Had tasting plate and duck pig belly main. Full meal near the best meal I had in Australia. I couldn't find a fault with anything. It is not cheap, but not over the top and given quality of our dining experience good value. I took my partner to dinner when they were on Bunda in the city. St and was never disappointed. Was very satisfied, meal was the 3 course and was fantastic! Quality and service excellent. The only small problem was not a pancake, but they work not enough to mark down.

I could not fault anything at all about our dining experience last night. Elegant, modern decor; soft furnishings to absorb any noise; music at a perfect pitch, intimate and friendly. We chose the tasting menu with fish of the day. Everything was superb and delicious. The entrees were beautifully presented and explained. Tasty little morsels of joy. Chairman and Yip is in my top three of 60 years of dining experiences.
