George Howell Coffee - Acton

Saw this location in Acton under yelp for coffee roasters, familiar with George Howell product but upon showing up The guy at the door turned me away at the door saying they don't do any coffee sales in person at all, gave me zero direction on where to get their product locally, and was just generally kind of succinct and uninterested in providing any customer service. I guess I won't be buying their product then. Seriously get a clue, if you want my money tell me how I can give it to you. Don't just turn me away at the door like I'm an inconvenience to you, just an interruption in your day. They charge dim near double for some of their coffee then most of the local roasts around here, so instead of supporting the snobs that don't give a **** about their customers, go to a local roaster that does.

Website is horrible. No email confirmation of gift certificate purchased. A piece of paper is mailed. Web cart subtotal was minus 10 dollars. Coffee itself is nothing special. Dark roasts are still medium bodied. Nothing like a dark roast at Starbucks.

Do Not Order coffee from this company. I ordered on 7/14/21. It is 7/26/21 and I have no beans. It took 2 emails for me to get a response from the company and they suggested I call the post office to find their shipment. All they would do to. help was provide the same tracking number they provided initially.

The best coffee ever! Fresh, expert roasting, variety of coffess to choose from and helpful, knowledgeable staff. And they pay fair prices to growers which is important to me.

Never been to the cafes but this coffee is disgusting. It’s the kind of coffee that you think is good if you think Olive Garden is good. Straight motor oil. I NEVER give bad reviews but I can’t even stop at places that serve GHC, which is inconvenient.
