The ownership and workers are Arabs so as expected the falafel were amazingly tasty which we didn't eat such for a good while. Because the queue was extended, the seller gave us some falafel balls to eat while we stood and wait and it was a great treat to relive some of our hunger.
I don't typically order falafel, as all the falafel I've had in the past was on the dry side, but this place obviously knows what they're doing! We were told by some locals that this was the best place to get falafel, and we were not disappointed. They're pros, and you can tell just by watching them make fresh batches before your eyes.
The Perfect Falafel Pita SO delicious! This was the best falafel pita I have ever eaten, straight out. The falafel was fresh out of the fryer and they give you a lot of them. The toppings were all first rate, especially the purple pickled mystery vegetable. These guys crank them out so it is all fresh and they do know what they are doing. They are also super friendly and were really helpful to us English speakers. To top it off they are only 15 shekels! This is the best deal I've had in Israel. I want another one right now. They close up around 4 each day so plan to visit it them for lunch during your stay here.
No humus, no fries, not so tasty. Huge pita. Only cash
Both the falafel and pita was super soft and tasty! 15 shekels for it, and you can decide on your own toppings. The shopkeeper let us eat before we pay. Wow, that's rare! We literally walked away to eat before we came back to pay.
