El Bourj - Acre

Nestling in between the walls of the Old town of Acre, el Bourg (the Tower) has two level. One gives you the entrance from the old Khan (Kerevan seray), while the second level sits on the walls overlooking the eastern shores of the city and the land gate leading merchants inside. Offering local mid-eastern food, mainly fresh fish from the close-by sea, along with eastern mizza accompanied by classic music.. Recommended for lunch en route for groups since it has wide sittings space both inside and on the upper side of the walls.

Great place with great service and food. Not expensive at all. Will come back again for sure!

Great restaurant and amazing service, the salads were amazing as well as the fish, and they just kept giving more and more without even asking. Prices aren't high as well and the view from the upper balcony is stunning! Highly recommended!!

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful ancient building, and in a very convenient spot in the old city. The food is simple: salads, toasts, meat dishes, and overall tastes fine, but not necessarily super fresh. The price is a bit high for this quality of food. Take into account that people are smoking inside the restaurant.

Very long wait for food...almost an hour. Food ok but nothing more. Service is not attentive. While this is supposedly a fish place, the fish were not fresh (probably frozen). Basically a tourist trap.
