San Guido - ACQUI TERME

This spot is quite in the centre of Acqui Terme but still easy paid parking in front of the restaurant. It has 2 entrances, one is at the back in one of the typical narrow streets. The main one also has a nice terrace. I have been here many times already but have not posted a review so far. The staff is very friendly, there is no menu. They tell you what is on offer which is of course very fresh. We had 2 courses, house wine, water and coffee for 10 euro per person.

Having found two other restaurants closed this was the open option next door to the second choice. Modestly priced and limited choice it was very acceptable. Straightforward and simple cooking well presented. Included wine and coffee. Well worthwhile eating here.

Before seeing a house at some distance from Acqui Terme we decided to have a quick lunch with a more or less fixed menu at this place. We had been here before and it was good. The Gorgonzola risotto was excellent, one of the best I ever tasted, the swordfish was a disappointment, the spinace excellent and so was the coffee. A full meal for 10 euros, with wine and water.
