Mio Wine - ACQUI TERME

A most for everyone that want to get an authentic experience when being in Italy. It is not just the wonderful owner that makes this place worth a visit, it is her customers, friends and even her dog that makes the atmosphere fantastic! Combine this with a vast selection of local wines and you have Mio Winebar! Not just worth a visit, it's a must for everyone visiting Acqui Therme.

Came here for an apperitivo and it was wonderful. Amazing selection of wines and delicious food out. Great atmosphere the place had good music and a really nice hostess. We stayed for a while having our apperitivo and ended up staying for dinner too!! Dinner was delicious had one of the gallettes... Like a savory crepe with an italian twist. Really good. Hope I can come back here again soon!!

This place is a hidden in a side street off the fountain but worth exploring if you are looking for a good glass of wine before or after a meal. We nearly passed by but the jazz music and the nice smile from our host attracted us. We wanted to go for a fast drink but stayed hours there and had a great time with our host and the guests. If you are looking to get in touch with the locals then we can highly recommend this place. Every time we are in Acqui Terme we pass by this bar and are never disappointed.

Luigia at Mio Wine Bar knows how to make her customers happy. She serves good wine and beer and of course the mandatory appetizers, but she also has galettes French pancakes on the menu. They are Italian style with mozzarella, rucola, melanzane, pesto etc. If you are not hungry, but just want to pass your time in the center of Acqui Terme and you like other music than Italian, Luigia will most certainly have chosen some good music to play. It could be Blues, Jazz or maybe Amy Winehouse, always good choices to make your foot tap to the beat. My favorite choice of wine bar in Acqui Terme.
