Tio Alex - Acapulco de Juárez

Great restaurant on the beach. spectacular sunsets. amazing fresh fish. very good service thanks to fernando. would they visit again.

Landed to bambú for dinner, but it was too full. we chose tio alex next door, which I think is in possession of the same family. drinks were 2 for 1 during happy hour. beer was nice and cold, but the two margaritas were not. Very good. very, very tart and I tasted no drop tequila. started with ceviche tio alex, which was very good. a main dish was kokosgarn. six plump garnel, but a little on the dry side. the other was butterflied baked garnel, which were also dry. these garnels could have used a diving sauce to fix the dryness. they had a live band and singer. on the water with a great view. the waiters were super friendly and attentive. you speak perfectly English. the prices were reasonable. I would definitely return. to choose a lot in the menu.

We had dinner at tio alex, which was good. the location is great, they can sit and overlook the beach below the restaurant. our waiter was very good, he spoke English very well, which I cannot say for other restaurants in acapulco. we have diner at 7:30 a.m., which might have been early, although we have received great service. the location on the main road in the hotel zone is beautiful when they stay in this opposite. they can just go to the restaurant. I'd go back there when I return to acapulco.

Restaurante con bonita vista de la la Bahía!!! Buena música, buen servicio pero los alimentos mal servidos, los camarones enchipotlados con cáscara y tenían muy poca carne!!! La mojarra poco frita. Las margaritas con muy poco tequila!!! Alimentos por mejorar!!!

Were enticed into the bar by Alex, who showed us in and showed us the view before we decided to stay. Sitting above the beach. Lovely bar, happy hour 2 for 1, and good views of sunset. We went somewhere else the next night, but...not very good, unpleasant staff and expensive, so went back to Tio Alex the next night, to be greeted again. Very good, one of the best bars as you walk from the Emporio Hotel.
