La Cabaña de Caleta

We went on Sat with about 10 TA people and another 16 of their friends/family always a great day. Arrived early for breakfast and to make sure things were set up which they were. Always crowded on the weekends. Had their Ceviche later on delicious...as usual and that was it on the food today.

Servers were excellent. Shrimp taco with avocado sauce very good. Filet was thin but excellently cooked and with taste, wrapped in bacon. Broccoli, carrots, cauliflower were a bit too done but quite fine. White wine was ok but very small amounts but reflective of the...price. Baked Alaska was horizontal style not great but very good. Good to sit near beach but not on sand. Lots of tourists but inside the restaurant, it seems calmer. Misters provide cooling air. Extensive menu. Glad I went.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in acapulco. with fantastic eating next to magnificent views of the beach and the sea, this is a fantastic overall experience. it was a really nice place to relax and spend time with my family. the staff...as I found at most places in mexiko, are really helpful and friendly and here they don't feel rushed to leave as soon as they have finished eating.

That is a great place, I was for the first time 12 years old and often it went for 60 years. I once had a villa in acapulco for 30 years. much has changed, but I still have great memories of this place. good eating, beach and cheap drinks.
