Vasco's - Abu Dhabi

This is a high end position at a mid-high end price. seafood seems to be their donation, although steaks are available. I had a Portuguese grouper who was more salty than I would prefer. Heaters are available on the terrace for cool evenings.

The restaurant is located in the exclusive hilton beach club and is named after the world famous vasco da gama and the menu is fully inspired by its exploration route. with the magnificent view of the beach served vasco cuisine from all over the world and they believed to win some prestigious awards. I decided to dine inside and my favorites from the whole meal was definitiw their selection of fine wein and mushroom risotto. highly recommended!

Visited this great restaurant on the corniche a few times during a winter break in abu dhabi. eating is amazing, you need to choose something from the tandoori topf menu, delicious. our host kamrul was so friendly, politely very good about the opposite that it was history. they have to eat here at least once, oh the pints of bitburger are great.

A mere image of its former self. Disappointing. Not sure what happened to the place, on previous visits to abu dhabi we were very impressed by the place leading us to visiting them again. Disappointing in many aspects, the service was not to standard, the food was not better that something that can be thrown together at home and the manager was rude and entitled. For the service, our waiter was kind on the rare occasions that he'd appear. The manager seemed as if he was well aware and content with the fact that his business would succeed on the business from tourists who don't plan on returning anyways. For the food, it was the biggest disappointment as previously we loved the meals that we were served. For me I had the corn-fed chicken which was bitter and served with some expired onion and mash which was spiked with flour for some reason. We shared the fried squid and calamari for a started and it was overcooked and not enjoyable. My family wasn't too happy either with their seafood dishes. I'll probably not go back there which is sad since we had good memories there.

I visited this restaurant at the beach in the early evening and had a very pleasant meal. I ordered punjabi style daal makhani for beginners followed by a tandoori grilled red snapper, which was a beginning of the day I could choose before it was cooked. more special thanks to kamrul, who assisted me and offered an excellent and attentive service. I would highly recommend.
