Contribuiți la feedbackI visited here during the work in abu dhabi. it was a 30-minute taxi ride to come, but I always try to eat in veggie restaurants when out and around. eating is good, usually well worth Southern Indian food. it was simply not a very friendly place. from the doorstep to pay my bill, it was all very perfunctory.
It's often crowded here, sometimes to the point of less than satisfying service. If you're not very familiar with Indian food, look around at other people's plates to see what you should get. Recommended: dosas (with lots of vegan sauces), fresh pineapple juice, any of their fried breads, set meals. You'll eat a lot here because it's cheap and the dishes seem small, but they're a bit greasy, so you might feel really full after.
I visited here while working in Abu Dhabi. It was a 30 minute taxi ride to get to but I always try and eat at veggie restaurants when out and about. If I'm honest I was a bit disappointed. The food is fine, usual good value southern indian food. It just wasn't very a very friendly place. From the front door to paying my bill it was all very perfunctory.
We had lunch there today, as it was the only veggie restaurant in the area that we could actually physically find from the restaurant list on happy cow . Reasonably well sign posted, on a side street. Very authentic indian food, nicely spiced. Menu is in english, and has times written on it so certain menu items are only available certain times of the day ?! . Easiest item to order at lunch seemed to be a thali lots of little bits curry, rice, roti, sweet . The huge thali was 15 dirhams per person, so very very cheap. Very filling, and the waiter kept coming around to top up the food you'd just eaten! This is a chain of restaurants they have 6 branches around UAE. Very clean on the inside, lots of locals eating there. Man at the door spoke english well, so tip well! Due to not being able to find any of the other restaurants in this area of abu dhabi they must be really tucked away amongst the many un sign posted side streets?! , think we'll be going back there every day for the next week!

Recommended: canas (with many vegan sauces), fresh pineapple juice, each of their fried breads, meals.
