Great Wall Buffet Ii - Aboite

Stopped in for dinner on Christmas. They were busy, but not packed. Waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged to be seated. During this time, a group walked in, bypassed us and the two groups in front of us and were immediately seated. The restaurant was filthy, the food was lacking flavor, temperature and had long forgotten the meaning of fresh. When we were finally sat, we ordered something to drink and asked for chopsticks (they ran out how the heck does that happen? , we finished half our meal before our drinks came (I could have shipped chopsticks quicker... . After getting our drinks, refills were out of the question, so was having our table wiped off before we sat down, or any sort of general house keeping... And all this for a jacked up Christmas charge. This really sucks, because we used to love coming here. It was one of the few Chinese Restaurants my other half would eat at.

I absolutely love proper Chinese and Japanese cooking. I have tried several buffets in town and still none compare. The selection is wonderful, and the food itself is perfectly cooked and excellent flavor. My only choice for Chinese buffet!

If I could I wouldn't put any stars. The food was all freezing cold. Tasted horrible. I will not return.

I am a Chinese Buffet connoisseur. Few buffets have the selection you find here. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, the dishes are flavorful. The salad bar/sushi bar had a great variety, the soups were flavorful and hearty. Then the deserts were more than most places have, with a whole buffet line with several ice cream flavors and many different Chinese desert selections. Many reviewers compare buffets to made to order takeout, which is like comparing apples to oranges. This buffet for the selection and price is one of the best values I've had. Highly recommend.

Has gone downhill. Ate here long ago and loved it; very clean and welcoming, food was great. Today, I came back and it has fallen into a dump. The food was terrible, both in quality and taste. Won't be coming back again.
