Rosie's Tavern - Abita Springs

Great place to have a drink and play pool or darts. everyone is friendly.

Well we stumbled into this tavern because the Abita brewhouse was closed on Monday...well we were presently surprised to meet local legend White Lavender in person, who could believe a local legend such as him to be at Rosie's at 11am on Monday!!!! Great time had by all and the best bartender in Louisiana!!!!

A great local place. The bartender was a joy to talk too. They have a fabulous happy hour specials. All the pool tables were in use when we were there. A big outdoor area to enjoy the gorgeous sunny days. The atmosphere is friendly welcoming. Also check out the celling. Fun.

Would go play pool there if I didn’t get sick from all the cigarette smoke. It’s unbearable to be there for long and my clothes and hair reek of carcinogens every time I’ve tried it.
