Box Hill Pizzeria - Abingdon

I've been going here my entire life. Great crab cakes, pizza, and lots more. Surely a local favorite!

Let me first say we have been eating at Box Hill Pizzeria for 26 years.

The Greek Salad is Awesome! Went to Boxhill with my husband and 4 year old.

We stayed at Boxhill Pizzeria Crab Cakes for dinner and were completely satisfied. We have 2 orders from the 8oz Crab Cake Platter, the Hot Roast Beef and the Fried Shrimp Platter. Garlic bread was taken out for the table. The Crabcakes lived up to their reputation as some of the best I had. Large size and little filler served with tar and cocktail sauce. It came with frits that were cooked well and a sweet tasting of Coleslaw. The Bratbeef was also served with frits and tasted good. It came on the slices of bread, crushed in severity with the only criticism that more meat was desired. The fried shrimps also tasted good. Pretty standard for your average fried shrimps. At other visits, I tried the pizza. I'd say you can't go wrong if you stick to the pizza or crabs. It would be nice if she offered a single menu item that included a sample of both.

In the 15 or so years since the last visit I have never eaten a better crab cake. You are some of the best!!! Amazing lump cake. The 8oz is massive and almost all meat. Service is super friendly and fast. Everything was very clean and great outdoor seating. Look at their desserts.
