As for parking, there’s usually space available both below and on the hill to the east of the cafe. The venue used to be a school, so there’s plenty of room.
A classic, no-frills restaurant serving delicious homemade food. I had the roast pork with potato dumplings and sauerkraut, their special on Wednesdays, and it was fantastic!
Whenever I crave Vepřo knedlo zelo, I take the 60-mile drive to the only spot in the world that prepares it just the way I enjoy! Even if Czech cuisine isn’t your thing, Abie's Place is a hidden gem. I adore the charming small-town vibe and the incredibly welcoming staff. Plus, you can snag some of the best kolaches on this side of the Danube as an added treat.
Well worth the motorcycle ride from Omaha. The food is good and reasonably priced. The kolaces were delicious and survived the trip home. Definitely recommend
I recently discovered a Gem in a small town 25 minutes from Wahoo, Ne. The food is delicious with great prices. The waitress Mary works the whole place and does a great job making you feel welcome. Their Wednesday roast pork, dumplings and kraut are reason enough to make the drive there. Everything I have ordered off their menu is superb. The kolaches are delicious. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
