Contribuiți la feedbackI stopped at this restaurant for a delicious coffee before cycling up Cairn O Mount, and then treated myself to a tasty cullen skink once I came back down. The staff, service, food, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Despite not having a reservation, I was seated at a large table with other travelers. It turned out to be a great experience as I was able to meet and chat with some lovely people. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I went for an early lunch, which was a smart decision as it got busier later on. The Cullen skink lived up to its reputation and was a reasonable size, allowing room for a sandwich or dessert. The chicken salad special was substantial and didn't require an additional course to feel satisfied. The coffee was also quite enjoyable. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly, so overall it was a positive experience. The restaurant has limited hours, but that's understandable in today's circumstances.
We ordered takeout and the restaurant was bustling but still very organized. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the food was freshly cooked. The homemade baked goods were fantastic and the coffee was piping hot.
Had a light lunch here on a day trip outing. Sweet potato and coconut soup was delicious and the cullen skink was rated by my partner. The cafe is quite small and traditionally decorated (Scottish theme with stag/rabbit/squirrel wallpaper). There was an impressive array of cakes to choose from too!
I met up with my family who live nearby to have lunch at the Arch. It was my first time there, but definitely not my last. The room was lovely, the service was friendly, the food was tasty, and the home baking was amazing. I hope the Arch cafe continues to thrive. I can't wait to go back. It's a fantastic little place.
