Thaikhun - Aberdeen

We original came and you were fully booked so we booked a table for the next evening. The wait was worth it. The service was exceptional the restaurant had a great authentic family run feel. The food was exceptionally exquisite. My wife who's Malay tasted the authentic ingredients and flavours of south east asia in the dishes we were served. One highlight was the children's menu there was no degradation in flavour as most children's menus lack flavour the fried rice was super tasty. If your in Aberdeen for a holiday must have for an evening meal.

Food was delicious and arrived very quickly. They were quite busy when we first turned up (Sunday evening) so I'd recommend booking beforehand on a weekend. We had to wait around 30 mins but then got a table. Staff were great

I had a really nice dining experience! Staff were courteous and helpful, the restaurant had all safety measures in place as far as I could see, and the food was amazing. My husband and I wanted something spicy so we went for the seafood noodles great choice! Everything on the menu looked quite good though. Can’t wait to go back to try some more dishes!

I absolutely adore this place and I would highly recommend it if you're craving for Thai or southeast Asian food. First of all, the decoration is stunning and detailed, it really reminds me of a normal street-side restaurant in the southeast Asian countries. Secondly, the food was out of this world, to which I would recommend the sharing platters and the stick rice dessert the most. Lastly, the service was extremely professional. However, the place is clearly short-staffed even though there were quite a few employees there. It can get quite crowded in the evening so expect a slower service.

Good value but only when they have a deal on. Over priced normally! Food is ok but there are much better local Thai restaurants with better value and better food. Been three times now and service had always been terrible. All student staff who aren't knowledgeable about the menu and don't pay attention to tables. Always too quick to get the order in at the start but then leave us waiting to order more drinks or desserts or to pay the bill.
