Friendly service, fresh food and first chowmein in Aberdeen I’ve really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!!
AVOID!! I can honestly say I can't remember having a worse takeaway; if I ever did, it must have been a long time ago. I ordered Chicken Curry, Noodles with Onions, and Steamed Rice. As soon as I opened the curry, the smell was overpowering—it reeked of something burnt and possibly spoiled. I took a very small taste but had to rinse my mouth afterward because it was inedible. The noodles turned out to be spaghetti, which was slimy (why?), and while they didn’t taste rancid like the curry, they were still odd. On the bright side, the rice was decent, but considering that was all I dared to eat, the total cost of £17 made it an extremely pricey serving of rice! This is just my experience, but my advice is to steer clear of this place unless you're an adrenaline junkie who enjoys taking risks. I’d rather not find out what kind of havoc this would wreak on my stomach, so I won’t be trying it again.
We ordered vegetable fried rice and chicken fried rice. They both looked appealing—my dish had a good amount of vegetables, and my husband’s had plenty of chicken. However, the one major downside was the lack of flavor. Both dishes were quite bland, and combined with the oil they were fried in, it resulted in a greasy and flavorless experience. It's really disappointing because all the other elements seemed promising.
This is definitely the best restaurant in town, leaving others behind. They serve traditional food with no processed ingredients. The chicken is excellent, the place is clean, and the service is fantastic. The food is outstanding!
