Central Coffee - Aberdeen

A few paces away from my old home in Aberdeen, Books and Beans was always a welcome sight.

Very cute and inviting cafe that serves a wide variety of sandwiches​, paninis, and coffees.

From our trip in July, 2016:_My wife and I were looking for a good place to grab a bite and some coffee.

This restaurant is so relaxed, with jazz music softly playing in the background. The coffee and cake are absolutely delicious. It has quickly become my favorite spot.

I was eager to try the advertised Fanta cheesecake at a new local independent coffee shop. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The cheesecake turned out to be a sponge with orange jelly and to my surprise, there was a hair in it. The cake was also served in its original packaging, including the use by date sticker. The only positive thing about the café was its decor. The cheesecake wasn't great, but the iced tea was drinkable.
