Contribuiți la feedbackI practically lived in Pad Thai until I moved away to Tokyo. They’ve renovated with the money from me and my friends going so often and I don’t regret it for a moment. I only wish I could visit more often. The sweet teas are amazing and the food is delicious.
Feels so good to get some properly spicy food, would recommend the green curry! The thai iced tea is good too. Thanks Stacey for being so warm and helpful with recommendations on what to do around Aberdeen!
Popped in for a quick lunch to this hidden gem. My colleague had the Tom Yum Noodle soup which they thought was full of flavour and a meal in itself. My rice dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice on the lunch menu, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the service was efficient. Not busy when I visited, although centrally located at 189 Union Street, the street level entrance to this upstairs restaurant is not obviously attractive, but once inside the seating is spacious and well appointed it really is well worth the effort and deserves to be doing much more business!
The curries here had a really good taste, but were spoiled by the very poor quality chicken which was inedible. Rice and sauce it was then , a waste of money. Beer £5.20 a pint, small glass of cheap wine was £7.00. Service was good. I wouldn’t go back, not for that poor quality chicken, plenty other restaurants to spend my money.
Padthai has moved to Union Street and it’s still delicious. A friend and I ate curries from the a la carte menu and they were both delicious. We’ll be back to try the hotpot.
