Kilau - Aberdeen City

We visited this restaurant for breakfast on Saturday. I decided to try the vegan breakfast for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wow! My experience at this restaurant was more than just a simple lunch - it was a friendly and delicious experience from start to finish. The staff worked seamlessly together, providing quick and efficient service in a charming setting with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. They were able to help me with travel and local information promptly, making me feel like I was at the heart of Old Aberdeen where everyone is treated like a special guest. The soup of the day, a unique blend of broccoli, spinach, and peas, was offered in half portions and paired perfectly with their artisan bread and indulgent scones. The cheesecakes looked tempting, but I was already quite satisfied with my meal. It was clear from the happy customers around me that I wasn't the only one impressed by this restaurant. I'm already looking forward to returning with my friends in the near future.

Ever since my friends and I started university in 2019, we have been frequenting Kilau. We love it so much that our family has also started visiting. The staff are always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. Personally, I enjoy the soup of the day and the cheesecakes are the best I've ever had.

Wonderful cafe. Excellent coffee, delicious food we had the vegan breakfast the sweet potato crepe the best cheesecake I've ever tasted. Sat in the sunshine in harming courtyard garden. Friendly efficient service. Highly recommended.

So many places don't know what's in their food. These guys have it nailed and a lovely helpful attitude. Oh, and the coffee rates ten as well
