Thai Orchid Restaurant - Aberdeen

We love Thai food to taste different. Try some appetizers and two dishes and all were fantastic. Each dish had its own small turn from other Thai places and all were well done. The staff was great and the service was surprisingly fast, Thai is usually a bit slow, but that was fast for Thai. Recommend Curry Puffs.

I was excited to try this place, the smell from the outside was very pleasing. Food Taste was very good, although I never had a fresh source, role that had red onions in it. The 2 duck dishes we ordered were quite delicious The pineapple was for 2 pax size The noodle dish was kind of small for what we expected with just a few shrimps for this price. The rice that came with the duck was very small compared to other places, so had to order extra rice. Environment Old tables and chairs, but acceptable. The padding must be exchanged at the stand seats. For the things we basically order for 4 adults. Maybe it was okay if they were nice, but they weren't. CON 1. The 2 older Gals seemed inviting when there were only 4 of us, but when I said, group of 7 was rattled as if they had never let people come. 2. If you have a child, this place is not the best place to go. One of the older girls was very rude to my husband and son. Yes, he is not calm, but neither was the place quiet nor was he wrongly just chatted and remained in his seat all the time. I didn't know what she did until after our departure, my husband was uncomfortable all the time, but didn't want to make a spectacle. We were with another couple and their child and had a good day. I usually take pictures of food, but since we were with friends, I didn't freak out my camera.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food is delicious. Thai Basil Shrimp, authentic, not over spicy, crisp vegetables and delicate shrimps. Lord had seafood combination with rice, well seasoned, many vegetables and a delicious sauce. The spring rolls tasted good. Not like the frozen species. This taste homemade.? Enjoy the ride.

I was surprised with my last visit after a long break from this restaurant. The staff was great and the food was great. Prices seemed more reasonable than I remember, but that could be a shift in my perspective. I'm picky about my Thai food and they did a great job for my father's day from my family.

Caved to wifes love of Thai and gave this place a try. The vegetable spring rolls were good. However, they WAY over did the spice on our entrees. I ordered Pad Thai at 2/5 and she ordered Drunken Noodles at her usual 3/5. We both threw them away due to being too hot to enjoy.
