Penang Szechuan Cuisine - Abbotsford

Called for a sit down meal whilst stopping over night in White Rock. Absolutely cracking meal, plentiful and cooked to perfection. So that always gets 10/10 from me. Premises very basic but everything food wise and tables were clean. Would recommend this to lovers of Chinese style cooking. From the numbers who kept coming and going they also do a brisk trade in takeaways

We have been coming here for more than 13 years however our last experience was not good. The food is good but their bathrooms are out of order and not working. What is with all the signs by and in the washroom??? I do not want to have to lift up the back lid to the toilet to flush the toilet. It doesn't matter how good the food is when I'm wrestling with broken toilets and you can tell by the signs that it's been this way for a while now. FIX IT!!!! This place is becoming a dump and a big disappointment especially ever since the new owners took over.

My Wife and I always have takeout for the New Years eve festivities. This time we chose Penang Szechuan, we got there as it opened around 4:00 pm and ordered our food, we got about 4 dishes and two types of soup. My wife got two vegetarian dishes and enjoyed them a lot. The food took about 25 minutes to be prepared and we enjoyed them at home within minutes of arriving home. The store is a small little hole in the wall but don't be thrown of by the size the menu is huge and are great.

I went with a friend and we shared several different appetizers. We enjoyed every single one and the prices can't be beat! Looking forward to going again.

I ordered pick-up and got the vegetable chow mien. Gross!! It was more like oily spaghetti noodles and maybe 10 small pieces of vegetables. As for the flavour there wasn't any! Super bland! Drove back hoping to have it replaced but was told they will make a note of it. Left unhappy and still hungry :(
