Disimproved a lot from previou visits, maybe just a bad day, who knows? Wont rush back

Arrived for my first meal this time on Ischia on the 30th and had an amazing time . Food and service were impeccable. Wine suggestions also surpassed expectation. Pietro part head waiter, part somelllier ,part entertainer was on top form. One of the great things about this eaterie is that if you see something that is not on the menu then ask. if they can facilitate, they will. all dishes are served to the highest standard ..Denise and Mr Brian the waitress and waiter are always on hand on to fulfill any request. Ask for a Adrian Special Water . I also returned on New Years Eve which was a delight.Given a table with a lovely panoramic view I enjoyed a lovely seven course tasting menu, culminating at midnight to watch the fireworks outside. I say culminating .Not quite true. Returned to have one more desert plus a lentil dish. lentils are considered good luck. This place does not need luck as it has all the hallmarks of a must go to place whilst on holiday on Ischia. Highly recommend.

This is a 'must visit ' restaurant down by the harbour. Pietro leads the front of house team to deliver outstanding service and he completely leads by example what a bundle of energy! And richly deserved a stiff brandy at the end of the night!! We were there for a hugely busy Saturday night and it was a privilege to watch him at work . Food was fab too lobster delicious! We liked it so much we went twice while we were on the island. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Terrific value for money.

We ate in a couple of restaurants in Ischia Porto and then we found L'Altra Mezzanotte (or perhaps more accurately, Pietro, the host, found us). We found our place and dared try no other restaurants and so ate here for 4 consecutive evenings. Everything was absolutely delicious. My wife loved her fish, and I loved the variety of my vegetarian options. The wine was delicious and the desserts really good. We sat at an outside table adjacent to the port. Quiet and lively at the same time. Pietro always made us fell special and at home. We got big hugs on our last night. This is the place to go!!!
