Food Etc. - Abbeville

My family has been ordering from food Etc for several years now usually atleast a few times a month and orders are uusually 20 -24 piece chicken and or sides. My father usually spends atleast $40 when ordering from them. So when my father and brother went the other day at 6:00 and they said they only had a few pieces of chicken left and close at 7:00 I was very very disappointed to hear that. If you close at 7:00 don’t tell a “supposed to be valued customer” you’re not cooking anymore 6:00 just because of what I assume is you want to clean up and get home early!! You have a business run it the way you should “Customer first”

The best fried pickles and french fries! Hamburger are great! Prices are very reasonable!

I drove out from Lafayette on a Saturday at 2:00 PM to find Food Etc. closed and dark. There was no note on the door explaining why they were closed during regular business hours, and although the "OPEN" sign was lit, no one was there. This is frustrating and not the first time this has happened. I was extremely disappointed, as were the three other cars that arrived while I was in the parking lot.

They have introduced new dishes, and they are delicious! Food: 5/5
