Ica Maxi Stormarknad - Aalsten

After seeing advertisements in the local newspapers, I thought this restaurant would be easy to access. However, public transportation directed me to a bus stop half a kilometer away and required me to walk from there. This was a major inconvenience. I have also driven there by car, and parking was easily available in the garage. By showing my parking ticket at the counter, I received a discount of 20 SEK to cover the cost of parking, essentially making parking free. Apart from that, the restaurant is similar to a typical megastore with a variety of items such as food, clothes, DVDs, and doormats spread out over two floors. The butcher's counter is good, as is the fruit and vegetable section. Overall, everything is satisfactory but nothing exceptional enough to draw me from my usual route between work and home. If I had a car and was not dependent on public transportation, my experience might have been different.

This restaurant did not meet my expectations. The produce is not very fresh, they always have low stock, and the wait for the fresh fish counter is long because they are understaffed. There was only one person working during peak hours on a Friday.
